Proudly Recognizing the CCRA Designation of Excellence

Business-to-business (B2B) credit management is constantly evolving, shaped by technological advancements, shifting industry trends and a fluctuating economy. To remain at the forefront, credit professionals must be able to adapt quickly and confidently. By receiving a designation through NACM and FCIB’s Professional Certification Program, credit professionals have access to the essential knowledge, tools and network of credit professionals to help navigate shifting times.
For Heather Re-DeGunia, CBF, CCRA, senior credit representative at Ag Processing, Inc. (Omaha, NE), earning her Certified Credit and Risk Analyst (CCRA) designation provided a strong foundation in financial statement analysis, including how to properly evaluate and interpret financial data. As a CCRA holder, Re-DeGunia has gained the credibility and confidence to make more informed credit decisions and contribute meaningfully to the credit profession.
“Networking with credit professionals I’ve met through the program has helped me be more thoughtful in the decision-making process,” Re-DeGunia said. “Since the credit environment is always evolving, continuous education remains a crucial part of my role as a credit professional.”
Following her new accreditation, Re-DeGunia was honored with this year’s CCRA Designation of Excellence Award from NACM’s Honors and Awards Program. This recognition is awarded to designation holders at four distinct levels—CBA, CBF, CCRA and CCE—who demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence through continuous learning and a passion for sharing knowledge by speaking, teaching or mentoring.
“This recognition has given me pride, knowing that my hard work and growth in the credit field have not gone unnoticed,” Re-DeGunia said. “I’m grateful for all the opportunities that NACM provides, and for the guidance I’ve received from my mentor and fellow credit professionals, including those I met through NACM. I would not be where I am without them.”
Re-DeGunia encourages credit professionals to take full advantage of NACM’s programs and designation opportunities. “In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, you have the opportunity to meet so many other credit professionals who can offer their advice and expertise to help you in your career,” Re-DeGunia said.
