Experienced credit managers benefit from professional development  

Earning FCIB’s Certified International Credit Professional (CICP) designation is a testament to the hard work and discipline it takes credit professionals to further their understanding of global credit.

This week’s member spotlight celebrates Christopher Sciortino, CICP, global credit manager at Pyrotek Inc., (Spokane, WA), who chose to deepen his understanding of international credit through FCIB’s professional program.  

“With my experience as a credit manager, I understand the importance of having a formal credential that reflects my commitment and ability to manage complicated credit issues on a global scale,” Sciortino said. “The designation also shows my dedication to professional development.”

“After being out of college for three plus decades, I had no desire to go back to studying and taking classes,” Sciortino said. “However, my experience in credit management gave me a strong foundation, which helped me grasp the advanced concepts covered.”
