Proactive risk management and teamwork lead to fraud ring arrests

A recent arrest tied to a significant fraud ring highlights the powerful results that can be achieved through advanced risk management, real-time intelligence and coordinated teamwork. On Friday, March 20, law enforcement apprehended suspects in Forest Hill, Maryland, marking a major milestone in an investigation that directly impacted NACM-member businesses.

Arrest details:

Two male suspects were taken into custody, while a female accomplice has been charged with conspiracy. The suspects were operating in a stolen white Jeep Wagoneer, rented from Enterprise and displaying a stolen license plate from a similar vehicle. During the arrest, law enforcement recovered additional stolen identification documents and license plates, reinforcing the scope and sophistication of the fraud operation.
