NACM President Search Update
After nearly 40 years of dedicated leadership, NACM National President Robin Schauseil has announced her intention to retire at the end of May 2026. During her tenure, Robin guided NACM through both challenges and opportunities, strengthening the organization and championing the credit profession with passion and tireless commitment. The NACM National Board of Directors extends its deepest gratitude for her decades of service.
In preparation for this important transition, the NACM National Board has adopted a detailed Succession Plan to ensure a smooth handover of leadership. As the first step, a Search Committee was appointed and engaged the executive search firm, Tuft & Associates, to assist with the process. Tuft & Associates has developed a comprehensive Position Profile, officially opening the application process. The Committee’s goal is to have a new President selected in early 2026, allowing for a seamless transition ahead of Robin’s retirement.
This is both a bittersweet and an exciting time for our organization. As Chair of the Search Committee, I am asking each of you to refer any applicants who may be a great fit for the role of President to Dan Borschke with Tuft & Associates at dborschke@tuftassoc.com. Because we’d like to welcome our President with a packed house, I’d also like to ask that you plan to attend our Credit Congress & Expo in St. Louis, which will be held June 7-10, 2026.
If you have any questions about the search or selection process, please do not hesitate to contact me at 573-876-5253 or jmott@mfa-inc.com.
I look forward to seeing you in St. Louis next June.
Jason Mott, CCE, is NACM’s National Chair-Elect and Chair of NACM’s National President Search Committee. Jason is the Corporate Credit Manager for MFA Incorporated in Columbia, MO.
