One of credit professionals’ biggest strengths is the ability to adapt in any situation. This strength translates to multiple avenues in life, especially when it comes to learning something new. NACM’s Professional Certification Program gives credit professionals the opportunity to challenge themselves by learning multiple subjects and different aspects of credit.

Marialisa Francetich, CBA, CCRA, credit analyst at United Malt Group Ltd dba Great Western Malting Company (Vancouver, WA), said she has learned a plethora of educational material while earning her Credit Business Associate (CBA) designation. “Learning about types of business, law and several other aspects of credit was very informative,” Francetich said. “It feels good having earned the CBA. Not only can I now put this designation after my name, but people acknowledge this accomplishment—adding to my credibility. I also have already obtained the Certified Credit and Risk Analyst (CCRA), so I look forward to pursuing other certifications!”

💡Study Tip: “Go through the learning modules, take notes, practice and then take the designation practice exam offered on the NACM website.”
