In every industry, exceptional leaders offer direction, inspiration and guidance, serving as the cornerstone of organizational progress and growth. But leadership goes beyond leading from the front—it amplifies new voices, fresh perspectives and untapped potential.
That’s why NACM actively seeks future credit leaders who will shape the direction of their companies and the credit profession. Emerging leaders like Brittany Yvon, CBA, CICP, credit manager at OMG, Inc. (Agawam, MA) and this year’s co-recipient of NACM’s Emerging Leader Award, recognizes budding leaders who share their vision, inspiring others with their force of purpose and astounding insights. “It is truly an incredible accomplishment that I was very humbled to receive,” she said.
Yvon’s hard work and dedication to ongoing education is what attributed to her receiving this honor in her field. “I strive to learn something new every day, whether through everyday work situations or when I connect with other credit professionals like in our Emerging Leaders Thought Leadership Forum,” she said. “I thrive on listening to seasoned credit professionals who can give valuable insights on situations that they have handled.”
Since transitioning into her position as credit manager, Yvon’s earned her Credit Business Associate (CBA) and Certified International Credit Professional (CICP) designations through NACM’s six-level Professional Certification Program.
“In my credit manager role, I have learned that my resilience, my strength and my determination are my strongest assets in my career growth,” Yvon said. “And I am so thankful to have NACM on my team.”
