NACM’s annual Credit Congress & Exposition is a chance for credit professionals from across the nation to grow their network, stay current on the latest industry trends and connect with others in their field. The various educational sessions and forums provide invaluable knowledge for long-term professional and personal growth.

No matter how many times you attend Credit Congress, there’s always something new to learn. Daniel Knippen, CCE, accounts receivable manager at Crane Composites, Inc. (Channahon, IL), learned more about artificial intelligence in last year’s session, AI—Your New Credit Ally: Unlocking the Potential and Understanding the Risks of AI in Credit. “I learned about building financial resilience through automation and AI,” he said. “I found out about various AI tools to help with annual account reviews and credit processes.”

Since then, Knippen has implemented a few different changes that have streamlined his annual evaluation process and is looking forward to what Credit Congress has in store this year.

💡Tips for first-time Credit Congress attendees: “Have an open mind and take detailed notes,” Knippen said. “Attend sessions that interest you but also challenge yourself by attending sessions you may not be familiar with or struggle with to expand your knowledge.”

Register here for NACM’s 129th Credit Congress in vibrant Cleveland, Ohio in May 2025.
