Member Spotlight: New Faces in Networking

NACM's annual Credit Congress brings hundreds of credit professionals together where they can learn new skills, refresh existing skills and stay informed on the most recent changes within the credit industry. Attendees also get the opportunity to network, hear from trade credit experts and learn information across a wide variety of topics.

This past June marked the 127th year of Credit Congress and NACM, with several new faces in attendance. "I really enjoyed my first time at Credit Congress," said Summer Ayala, revenue accounting manager at Driscoll's, Inc. (Watsonville, CA). "It was wonderful to network with others within the credit industry and get their perspectives on the topics we learned. A lot of the educational content was based around construction and manufacturing, which is most businesses in the B2B credit management industry."

Not only did this year's Congress provide valuable educational sessions, but featured acts at the General Session such as musical talent, Justin Cash, and this year's keynote speaker, Ty Bennett, enriched the experience. Ayala said one of her favorite parts was hearing Bennett's interactive speech. "I absolutely loved the keynote speaker," she said. "He was a wonderful communicator and gave great insights on effective communication. I will most definitely be attending next year."
