Member Spotlight: Countdown to Next Year’s Credit Congress
What better way to network and learn with colleagues than to attend NACM's annual Credit Congress and Expo? Last month, we held the 127th Credit Congress & Expo in Grapevine, TX with several new faces.
As a first timer at Credit Congress, you may not know what to expect. "My first-time experience was both enriching and fulfilling," said Erika Baeza, regional credit analyst at TTI, Inc. (Fort Worth, TX). "I was impressed by the vibrant atmosphere. People were engaged in conversations and exchanged ideas and experiences during the well-placed breaks. The lunches provided at the conference were delicious and fostered more networking opportunities."
Apart from the networking buzz, attendees were provided with a wide variety of educational sessions. From global and international topics to legal and leadership topics, all attendees had the opportunity to choose what they wanted to learn more about. The sessions were engaging and offered insight into several different aspects of the B2B credit profession, said Baeza. "I enjoyed the variety of sessions offered and I attended sessions that aligned with my interests and professional goals," she added. "The quality of content and the expertise of the presenters were excellent."
Overall, Credit Congress is a chance to collaborate and build relationships with others in the credit industry you may not have met otherwise. "The experience was incredible," Baeza said. "All of the hard work that went into organizing the conference is commendable. I am looking forward to attending the NACM conference for years to come. I will be counting down the days in anticipation for next year's conference."
Be sure to join us for next year's Credit Congress in Las Vegas, NV from June 9-12!
