Reflecting on ICRM Course Progress

As I wrap up module 10 for FCIB's International Credit Risk & Management (ICRM) course, I'm amazed at how far I've come starting with limited knowledge of international credit. From learning about the three extra C's of credit (country, culture and currency), establishing credit lines in payment terms and letters of credit, I still can't believe how much information I've absorbed.

I've gotten to know my classmates more and have seen how each of them apply their specific experiences and credit policies to the discussion posts. I can see how their company approaches foreign exchange risk when extending lines of credit overseas. I'm also getting ready for my second ICRM review session tomorrow on modules 6-10!

I'm grateful for the lessons I've learned and hope to apply this knowledge when writing for future FCIB Week In Review articles and NACM eNews articles.

Until next time,
